The Dimock Center
The Dimock Center Project represented a joint initiative with one of the U.S.’s largest rehabilitation centers, aimed at fostering stability for homeless children and their single parents. In Boston, we used the S.A.M.M. Program (Science, Art, Music, and Mindfulness) to help families heal in a fun, engaging, and non-invasive way, leaving everyone with a smile.
Hawaii Food Forest
The Hawaii Food Forest Project targeted the growing population of homeless children in Hawaii. We collaborated with “Project Hawaii” and used the S.A.M.M. Program to provide activities, organic vegan food, games, music, and storytelling. At their summer and teen leadership camps, children learned about nature, created art, and formed positive memories, while teens shared fears and envisioned a better world.
The Beacon Project
The Beacon Project focused on bridging social class gaps, reminding us of basic humanity, one piece of clothing at a time. Conceived to foster unity, this initiative operated as direct outreach in Seattle, WA, and Cambridge, MA. Volunteers from The Tiffany Project distributed winter clothing to the homeless, bringing aid and genuine interaction to underserved communities, reinforcing our shared humanity.
Project Hawai’i
Targeting the growing population of homeless children in Hawai’i, we collaborated with Project Hawai’i. Using the S.A.M.M. Program, we provided activities, organic vegan food, games, music, and storytelling. This project, with The Tiffany Project and Project Hawai’i, aimed to help homeless children at risk of human trafficking. Volunteer educators used the S.A.M.M. Program at summer and teen leadership camps, offering a safe space for sharing, creating, teamwork, and fun. Children learned about nature, created art, and formed positive memories, while teens did yoga, visionary art, and shared their fears and hopes, envisioning a better world.
The Fruit Tree Planting Foundation
The Fruit Tree Planting Foundation, founded by David “Avocado” Wolfe, worked with us to plant over 1000 fruit trees on four Native American reservations. This project focused on community building and food security. Children helped plant the trees and joined in an educational program with music, games, and classes, learning about the benefits of growing their own food. Watching each child plant a tree and connect with the Earth was a highlight.
